******* MEET
THE NEW BHCC CLUB MANAGER*******

Lori Cooke
Hi!
My name is Lori Cooke.
The first week of February, I
returned to work at Berkshire Hills Country
Club. This
time I am working as the new Club Manager.
A lot of members know me quite well,
for the new members let me tell you a little
about myself.
I
am anything but new to this business, or to
Berkshire Hills.
In 1991, I started working for
Samel’s as the Banquet Manager at
Berkshire Hills.
For the next 9 years I continued to
work in this position, When O’Laughlin’s
took over the catering I stayed on with them
until January 2000.
I left to become a secretary for my
brother at Rock Business Solutions, I was
there from January 2000 until January 2006,
but that is not my forte.
In the summer of 2000 I became bored
quickly and started also working nights and
weekends at Seven Hills Inn in Lenox.
I guess I just missed working
Weddings and other parties.
I was with Seven Hills, working under
their Manager for the next three years until
I returned to work for Beth and Wilkie when
the “New” Berkshire Hills Country Club
opened. Ben was here as manager at that
time, and left his position to move away.
I helped out by booking functions in
the interim, not wanting to leave people in
the dark until they found a new manager.
In December of 2004, I left Berkshire
Hills to start my own catering business with
my partner Rich Powers at the Itam Lodge.
It was a hard decision to make when I
received a call in December of 2005 to
return to Berkshire Hills as the Club
Manager.
With a tough decision in front of me
and after a few weeks, I decided that I
would love to return to the place I
basically grew up at, and take on the
position of manager, at Berkshire Hills.
I
will do my very best to be here for all of
you, and I look forward to meeting everyone
again this coming season!
Please feel free to call me anytime
if you have any questions, comments or
concerns.
We will work through them together!
Thank
you for giving me this opportunity to be
here again!
I finally made it back home!
Sincerely,
Lori
Cooke
